FAQ

Hair Transplantation

Who is Eligible for Hair Transplantation?

Hair transplantation is performed on patients with male pattern hair loss, with congenital (birthmark) regional hair loss, with surgery, hair loss after accidents or burns and in cases where there are enough donor sites in the neck or body of these patients.

How Many Grafts Can Hair Be Planted in One Session?

The number of grafts to be planted in a single session varies depending on the donor region of the person.

Thanks to our expert staff (if your donor area is sufficient), we can plant 7000 grafting root hair (21,000 strands of hair) in one session.

How Is The Front Hairline Supposed To Be?

During hair transplantation, the amount of hair loss, the amount of grafts taken from the donor site and the age of the person should be taken into consideration while making the hair line. The success of a plantation is directly proportional to its natural outlook.

The channels that are opened to the area where hair transplantation is to be performed must be based on the person's previous angle of hair output. After calculating the diameter and depth of your hair roots, the slots (channels) where the hair roots are placed are opened with a lateral slit that is specially prepared for your hair roots. The most important part of hair transplantation is the opening of these channels.

Why Is Channelling So Important?

In order to feed the hair follicles, the micro-incisions (channels) where the hair follicles will be placed must be in the diameter of the grafts that will be inserted. The angles of the micro-incisions where the hair follicles will be placed should be opened in the direction of the hair that is present before the hair loss.

The diameter and length of the hair follicles taken from the donor site should be calculated and the diameter and length of the lateral slit used to open the canal should be adapted. Custom channel openers are to be used. The angles of the grafts to be transplanted should be determined by skilled experts, taking into account the person's head structure and hair loss.
