Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns are applied when there are a small number of teeth in the mouth and the adjacent support teeth are reduced in the form of bridges or in the form of excessive decay or coloration of single or several teeth. The teeth are made in a laboratory and are fixed prostheses that are glued. These are prostheses that cannot be removed by the patients themselves. For example, if a porcelain bridge is considered for the entire upper jaw, there should be at least 8-9 teeth and there should be one on the left and right of the large molars at the rear. These types of prostheses, although they are more useful than the prosthesis inserted and removed, there are some conditions that are required to be applied. Construction takes place in approximately one week within 3-4 sessions after the preparation of the teeth and taking the measurement. The patient gets used to these types of prostheses very quickly and feels them as his or hers own teeth. For this reason, they are preferred for the back teeth.

Partial Prostheses

If the patient does not want to have an implant or have his or her teeth cut, he or she can have porcelain coatings done, especially if the rear molars are missing. The ideal prosthesis is partial prosthesis. The disadvantage is that there is small plaque on the palate in the mouth. The advantage is that when a tooth is pulled, the prosthesis is not wasted, depending on the situation a few teeth can be added. These are detected by mouth crochet; the patient can clean by taking it out before going to bed at night and brushing it. These prostheses can be made from metal partition, acrylic or deflex. Deflex gum colour is the colour of the crochet as close as possible to real teeth. Appearance is aesthetic, but if there is abundance in the future, there is no way to compress the crochet. Metal-assisted prostheses are preferred because they are thinner and the possibility of compression of the crochet is possible. If the patient does not want a partial prosthesis with a crochet, a delicate and aesthetic conversion is obtained by attaching hidden locks to the crowns and bridges made to a few of the existing teeth. It can be removed and cleaned in prostheses.

Important note: If there are teeth to be removed from partial, total or bridge prostheses, it is recommended to be removed 2 months in advance and the wound should be fully healed, saving us time.

Implant Prostheses

When our patient comes to our clinic with lack of teeth, we also recommend the implant among the different alternative prostheses. Especially if the rear molars are missing, it is best to save the patient from partial prostheses, i.e. oral prosthesis. In addition, in order to make bridges, it is necessary to sculpt the teeth found for support next to missing teeth. This is also recommended for patients who do not want their teeth to be touched. The implant is the root of an artificial tooth placed and applied to the jawbone. Therefore, it is very important that the bone structure of the patient who will have the implant is suitable and the gums are healthy. Patients should not have systemic diseases such as osteoporosis or diabetes. It is also contradictory for cancer patients who smoke a lot and undergo radiotherapy. It is one of the fixed and aesthetic prostheses that can be used for many years when the conditions are appropriate.

Treatments

All kinds of dental treatment, aesthetic fillings, canal treatments gum surgery and treatments in our clinic with surgical shots is carried out by specialist physicians. In addition, dental cleaning is applied with ultrasonic and profy jet tools, teeth grinding and teeth tightening, i.e. soft plaques are made for the treatment of bruxism.

Laminate Porcelain Crown

Irregularities affecting the aesthetic view of the maxillary anterior region can be corrected with several prosthetic treatment options such as crowns and porcelain laminate veneers. For many years the first choice of treatment had been crowns. However, today this technique is considered as an invasive approach. The use of porcelain laminate veneers, as opposed to metal-ceramic or all-ceramic crowns, is a minimal invasive treatment option. Furthermore, porcelain laminate veneers have become a routine restorative procedure for treatment of teeth at the maxillary anterior region. We can treat the patients’ teeth irregularities at the upper front region with porcelain laminate veneers within 7 days. In addition, in patients who have exceeded orthodontic age by a few years, we obtain a great aesthetic in 7 days, as mentioned above. In this type of kroner, the most important thing is that the back surface of the tooth is not covered, so if a treatment is needed in the future, we can do it without touching the lamina (Laminate) crown.

Zirconia Crowns

For The patients who want aesthetic artificial teeth, we advise zirconia crowns, especially for the front teeth. As this crown has the ability to be radiopaque, for this reason they are a lot more natural than other crowns and are more aesthetic in the mouth because they transmit light. Zirconium crowns are made up of zirconium oxide, which is a white powdered. The biggest characteristic is the lack of metal in it.
